About

politerati is a blog covering U.S. elections and political news, focusing on the state and national level. Enamored by the rise of political data journalism, Harvard College graduate Anthony O'Neil strives to share political news and evidence-driven elections analysis to a wide-ranging audience.

Despite majoring in biology in college, Anthony was inspired by the 2016 elections to become more politically literate. His undergraduate studies focused on health policy, and he produced an undergraduate research project titled "Preventing Nipah virus outbreaks through Pteropus conservation: a policy recommendation for Bangladesh." Anthony is an alumnus of the Boston-based Blue Lab, where he did communications work for a number of municipal and state campaigns in Massachusetts. Currently, he works with the Chelsea, Massachusetts City Council on a project for small business COVID-19 relief.
